Rear sight has one standing and one folding leaf. Barrels have absolutely mint bores, retain all the original finish, and are engraved at both the breeches and muzzles. Superb reinforced Anson and Deeley boxlock action with double underlugs and Greener cross-bolt third fastener has full coverage bold relief engraving and retains all the original hardening colors. Bushed firing pins, side clips, non-automatic safety, double triggers, and ejectors. Highly figured dark walnut butt stock has cheek piece, pistol grip, and integral mercury recoil reducer. Very fine, nicely executed, checkering and "Decelerator" butt pad. Matching splinter forend with Deeley forend latch. This rifle is in unused mint original condition and overall fit and finish of both wood and metal is flawless. Last manufacturers retail price on this rifle was $23,000. |
