This is the fifth volume in the Russell Annabel series. Originally we thought this would be the final volume in the series, but then Dell Annabel Lamey and Jeff Davis found another cache of Annabel stories, so we were able to add two more volumes to this series. All the tales in this volume are from Sports Afield, with the exception of one from True Hunting Yearbook. Volume five contains more stories on the wilds of the North country he loved so much, and includes such titles as "Berserk Brownies I'll never Forget," "You Can't Beat Luck," "Grand Stalks for Smart Billies," and "The Way We Were." Never again will Alaskan wildlife, hunting, and hunters be described in such vivid and eloquent detail, in the style that has never been equaled by any other writer.
