Frank Garrett Co., Birmingham, Deluxe 12ga. boxlock gun with two original sets of barrels. Weight: 6 lbs. 10 oz. with 28" barrels and 7 lb.2 oz. with 29" barrels. Stock dimensions: 14 1/2"x 1 1/2"x 2 3/4"x 1/4" cast-off. The 28" steel barrels with original 2 1/2" chambers and mint bores (.729"/.731"), choked .011"/.031", have .029"/.030" minimum wall thickness and have "Game" engraved on top rib. The second set of 29" barrels with original 2 3/4" chambers and mint bores (.730"/.730"), choked .030"/.030", have .037"/.036" wall thickness with "Pigeon" engraved on the top rib. Each set of barrels is of different weight and wall thickness and each is perfectly balanced on the gun. Each set has its own splinter forend. The best boxlock action with double underlugs and Greener crossbolt third fastener is beautifully engraved. Double triggers, ejectors, and non-automatic safety. Highly figured stock with horn pistol grip cap and engraved heel and toe clips. 80% original finish remains on the barrels. Overall a beautiful, peerless quality, original gun with spectacular wood and as-new barrels. Tight, dead-on-the-face with both sets of barrels and extremely versatile. Original maker's case with trade label and accessories. A lot of gun for the money!
