Winchester, Model 21, SxS 20ga. game gun, ca. mid 1930's. Weight: 6 lbs. 6 oz. Stock Dimensions: 13 7/8" x 1" x 2'x st. Superb 28" Winchester Proof Steel barrels with 2" chambers have mint bores (.614"/.614"), choked .007"/.022", and minimum wall thickness of .031"/.031". Much of the original black remains on the action with some finish worn off the sharp edges. Barrels retain 85% of the original black. Double triggers, ejectors, automatic safety. Original figured straight grip stock and splinter forend. The stock was shortened at one time then later restored using the same piece of wood removed earlier. Nice job and not readily apparent. Overall a beautiful little game gun in a highly sought after configuration and entirely original save for the stock alteration. |
