This is the seventh and last volume in our Russell Annabel series. Dell Annabel Lamey and Jeff Davis found one last cache of Rusty’s articles, all written between 1950 and 1979, for our readers to savor. This collection includes two stories never before published and three that were published posthumously. (Rusty died in 1979.) In this collection we again see Annabel shining as one of the great treasures of American literature. As with every story ever written by this brilliant author, Rusty looked to incorporate the foibles of both man and animal in his lighthearted tales, which is what gives his writing such universal appeal. This last volume has such wonderful Rustyisms as “Grizzlies Spell Trouble,” “How to Win Friends and Go Crazy,” and “My Cockeyed Career as a Human Mule.” Unlike the first five volumes, volumes six and seven include some outlandish fish tales and whoppers as only Rusty’s imagination could inspire. Come with Rusty one last time to Alaska’s gamelands and Mexico’s azure seas and discover Trouble Is Where You Find It. This is volume 30 in the Safari Press’s Classics in Big-Game Hunting Series.
