Holland & Holland, London, extremely rare lightweight 12ga. "Dominion Grade" game gun, ca. 1950. Weight: 5 lbs.2 oz. 14 3/8"x 1 3/8"x 2 5/8"x 2 5/8" straight cast-off. Superb 28" chopper lump steel barrels with 2" chambers have mint bores (.729"/.729"), are choked .010"/.026", and retain 100% original black finish. Nitro-proofed for 1 oz. shot and regulated with 7/8 oz. No. 6 shot. Fully engraved action and locks retain 100% of the original brilliant hardening colors. Double triggers and ejectors. Highly figured straight grip stock and splinter forend are unmarked and retain 100% of the original finish. Cased in the original maker's case with all the original accessories, this extraordinarily rare little gun, remarkably, remains in 100% mint, unfired, original condition. ABSOLUTELY UNIQUE. |
